Place Of Shadows
Ray Clements (Mark Damon) is an angry young man who stops off at a lonely railway station during a blizzard and meets a monk (Sean McClory), who takes him to the monastery where he confronts Father Vincente (Everett Sloane) over a man who is being looked after there following an accident. Using the alias of 'Mr. Unser', the man explains that the refugee 'Rocco' stole a large amount of money from him and ruined his life and now he wants revenge. Even though the priest gives him an envelope containing all of the money, it's not enough. However, Ray has a change of heart and finds forgiveness for Rocco and leaves with the money. Unfortunately there is a third party interested in the money, the real Mr. Unser (Joe Downing), whose identity Ray tried to use. They have a confrontation at the railway station which results in each shooting the other. Unser is killed but the wounded Ray survives and finds his way back to the monastery and takes refuge there himself. The police are satisfied Ray acted in self-defence and they leave. There's a moral in there somewhere....

SPOILERS
The man whom Ray sought out had already died prior to Ray's arrival at the monastery, but this information is withheld from him until the end because Father Vincente wanted Ray to find forgiveness based on the notion Rocco was still alive.

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION...
Decent drama with no real twist as such. It's the second outing from Sloane in the series (he was the husband in "Our Cook's A Treasure") who puts in an outstanding performance as the priest who tries to persuade the young man to think twice about committing murder.
