The Case Of Mr. Pelham
Albert Pelham (Tom Ewell) is an ordinary man with an extraordinary problem. One evening whilst he is drinking at his local club he confides in a psychiatrist (Raymond Bailey) about a series of incidents involving himself being mistaken by others including members of his club and his servant at home. The doctor suggests that Pelham changes his tie so that the 'imposter' wouldn't be able to impersonate him. Eventually, Pelham confronts his doppleganger at home and the two Mr. Pelham's try to convince the servant (played by Justice Watson) of their true identities. HITCH'S PROLOGUE (- secs):

SPOILERS
Well not really a spoiler, because the explanation for the double is simply that Pelham is "mad".

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION...
Who remembers the 1970 movie "The Man Who Haunted Himself" with Roger Moore? Well, this is the short version of it! I was a bit disappointed with the explanation/spoiler here, as I felt it was a cheap ending. The epilogue segment features two men in white coats dragging poor Hitchcock away despite his protests! Pure gold.
